Over on Pinterest I like to pin images of outfits that give me ideas on styling and new ways to outfit. Here is a recent example:
My outfit matches up quite well to the inspiration look, eh? But, it's not about going for an exact match, it's more so about breaking down these elements and mixing them up. For instance, any colorful or patterned cropped trouser works here. Switch out the navy blazer for charcoal or black one. The top could be a tee-shirt or silky tank, while the booties could be loafers. That's the point of inspiration, it's about getting a jumping off point and seeing what happens. FYI, these pics were taken underneath the railroad over pass on 22nd in South Side. And you thought I was in some sort of botanical garden, right?
