It's that time of year again, The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is upon us!!!! Early access for cardholders starts today! Even though we are still in the haggardly throes of a sticky hot summer, I'm doing a bit of self-care daydreaming about the crisp-cool weather ahead and browsing sweaters.

Halogen Three Quarter Sleeve Sweater

Just a simple form-fitting pink sweater. I like unexpected shades like pastels for fall, just as much as the classic autumnal tones.

Speaking of autumnal, a vibrant red cardi will carry you from October into the holidays.

As always, by this point of the summer I start yearning for fall. But this year especially, I'm chopping at the bit for crisp cool weather and layered looks. Something about wrapping up in warm soft fabric, covering up, protecting myself is even more appealing than usual. Wonder why that is...😉😜

40 Year Old Cottagecore

Love the oversized coat and the detail on these jeans. Patterned blazer, cropped colorful trousers, yes please! Of course, I cannot partake in this collection with my Year Of No Shopping, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't. So get ready to go by noon because I'm sure this noise will sell out fast. Number Two: I'm thinking about a new haircut. Something along the lines of Tilda Swinton . What do we think? I'm not going to go blond, but I like the shorter/buzzed sides and back with length on the top. Rent the Runway Wedding Vote

I may be on vacation at the moment, but I'm thinking of the future, in particular the wedding I'm attending back home next month. A ton of high school friends will be there.
