It's always risky around this time of year to wear red and green together without the intention of looking Christmasy. Because that is NOT what I was going for with this outfit. Granted the plaid of these cropped pants scream "holiday" but I think the two-toned blouse and blazer tamper that down. This necklace worked perfectly under the collar, of course you see the leather strap detail, but that's okay, it was all about the gold plate adding a bit of shine.
I still haven't decided for sures my holiday look this year. You may recall several posts about it last year, here and here. And the year before here. I'm debating on going with simple-chic black and white, or tweedy teal. Regardless, the standard red and green will be avoided at all holiday gatherings for this outfitter.
