Feel Good Outfit

 Now that it's officially fall I'm starting to layer with sweaters, sweatshirts, and vests over button-downs, and wearing boots. And there's something about red boots in particular this time of year that gives me all of the good feels.

Yes, this sweatshirt is merch from a skincare/makeup company, and it goes great with this plaid men's button-up. I wore this to a recent screening of the documentary Find Hygge and tried to subtly dress toward the theme, in comfortable garments with details (like these red boots) that made me feel good, comfortable, and happy. 

I've outfitted around the concept of Hygge in the past as seen in these posts here and here. And while it may seem that comfy/cozy fair isle is the statement of Hygge, really in the film it's more a concept than a "style".  It comes down to connecting and feeling good. This outfit fits that bill.
