I recently purchased myself a new overnight/weekend bag that I'm LOVING. For a recent trip to Philly last weekend I got the chance to put it in action. Here's my packing strategy.
Cargo pants, printed blouse, denim vest, kicks, & a bow tie for a quirky Saturday adventure outfit.
Something classic and simple, oxford shirt, grey sweater, black jeans and flats.
And then a few miscellaneous items: t-shirts, extra pair of jeans, sock & PJs.
Ready to go! As you may notice most of the pieces here correspond to the same color family (blue and black) with some accents like the cargo pants, heels, and pink necklace. Even though I've laid these out as separate outfits, they all can be mixed and matched to create even more looks. It's always nice to have options when you travel, and I for one like to have "chillax" clothes. Meaning pieces that are something simple, comfortable, and you can just throw on if you're chilling in the guest/hotel room reading, that aren't necessarily PJs.
Mr. Keller and I have several weekend trips lined up this spring so I'm sure my new roller bag will make itself useful.
