When it comes to fall colors, you wouldn't normally consider teal among them. However, in late September with the first hints of crisp weather I like to mix in some cooler shades with some of my fall favorites. Plus, when else can you wear a tweed trouser and kiltie loafer if not for fall! As things start to cool down I see this mock-turtle top serving as a dynamic layering piece, both over long-sleeved tees, and as a pop of color and pattern under jackets and blazers.
Speaking of color, how gorgeous is the sky in these shots. We discovered this "look out" location a few months, which you may recall in this post, and I can't wait to capture some amazing fall foliage in upcoming OOTD posts over the next two months.
