Cowboy Boots & Floral Skirts

Western wear has seen a resurgence here with the Cowboy Carter of it all, among other influences. I'm not one for cowgirl cosplay, but I do enjoy a good boot. Here I've styled by western boots with a mixed print autumnal outfit.  Blazer-- Luciano Barbera via Threadflip(now defunct), henley-Gap(similar here ), shirt-Uniqlo(similar here ), skirt- Amazon , boots-Coconuts via DSW(similar here ), necklace/bracelet- Slide Jewelry , ring/necklace-Ana Luisa(similar here and here ) I last featured these boots in a spring/summer look here . And I styled them with this same skirt back in April here . While this top is part of a "matching set" featured here  I'm doing the classic styling hack of "breaking it up" and the olive green coordinates with the skirt. You can watch my reel of the cinching drawstring features of this shirt here .  Again I'm wearing the promotional Slide Jewelry set. Yee Haw Witch

The recent rain has brought a cold front and crisp fall weather to Pittsburgh and I'm here for it. You can see the start of changing foliage in the background and this striped orange sweater is the perfect knit as October hits her stride!  sweater-Anthropologie(similar  here ,  here , and  here ), pants- Nordstrom , tee-Etsy(similar here ), sneakers- Cole Haan , matching necklace & bracelet- Slide Jewelry , necklace & ring-Ana Luisa(similar here  and here )   Yes, this outfit has a surprise layer with this Halloween-themed tee that really represents my mood for this time of year. Paired with these leopard print sneakers and of course this statement sweater and neutral trouser you've got a perfectly autumnal outfit with a bit of kitsch. I'm here for most things kitsch and all things witch in this fall season! The matching green/gold necklace and bracelet set is part of a promotional box I received from Slide Jewelry . Farm Days

To kick off the fall/spooky season we headed out for a farm day a few weeks back. This was our second year at Simmons Farm and while the girls were busy in the corn bus, we got a few (very few) outfit pics utilizing this amazing landscape as background.  shirt-Gap(similarish here ), tee- Wegman's , shorts-Levi's(similar here ), boots- Columbia Sportswear I've been a fan of buffalo plaid for years. I've had this particular shirt longer than my second child, perhaps even my first. I featured it in this very old post, here . You can't go wrong with any plaid or flannel for fall, especially for an outdoorsy look. Keeping functionality in mind I went with denim shorts and hiking boots. The tee-shirt is from my hometown picked up at the local Wegman's. You can get customized tees and hoodies from Hometown Apparel, specifically Williamsport, PA gear here . Also, to kind of style this up a bit more I went with "farm hair" pulled back up top instead of my usu...

Fall Forest

I don't often post athletic wear or what I would call errand-running or bus stop outfits, but how well these leggings and sweatshirt "matched up" earned them a posting. I did wear this look for an errands and we were able to pop out of the car quick for some shots with this on-theme backdrop. sweatshirt- Signals , leggings-- Constantly Varied Gear , bag-- Waterfly , sunnies- Diff Eyewear , ring-- Skeleton Jewelry , sneakers-Ascis(similar here )  There's a lot of teal in this look. And one could maybe argue that it's a bit matchy-matchy, however this found "matching set" needs to be recognized. The leggings pattern they are calling Aurora Borealis, and you can find similar forest and sky-themed prints here and here . While the sweatshirt is titled Misty Mountains and comes in hoodie form here . I'll take the misty mountains and night lights all season long!
